Moniker's Dotxxx Promo

Earlier this month we already blogged about the failure that is dotxxx. Today Moniker, the registrar that has been steadily going downhill in regards to customer service ever since Monte left, sent the following email to its users:

... Why choose .XXX? It's simple - as the Web's new home for adult entertainment online ...

Are the new Moniker execs so out of touch with their client base that they are unaware of the fact that most people in the adult industry have been fiercely opposed to the dotxxx tld since the very beginning? The picture they're trying to paint of the dotxxx tld as "the new home" for adult sites should worry or at least annoy every adult webmaster that has been working hard to rank its .com and other domains.
