Using Strongbox with a custom CMS

For those looking to use Strongbox in combination with a custom CMS, Raymor posted the following in a GFY thread on Strongbox and Wordpress:

No integration required. Your CMS should simply read $_SERVER['REMOTE_USER'], just like with any standards compliant system.
