Paypal's going on an anti-adult crusade
In October 2010, after ePassporte went down and before alternatives like Paxum became available, some affiliate programs started offering PayPal payouts. Well, PayPal payouts weren't new, but people started to be more open about it instead of simply trying to fly under the radar.
If you are currently getting paid via PayPal by adult affiliate programs, a recent GFY thread will probably make you reconsider that decision. GFY user icymelon had his PayPal account frozen after having received an affiliate payment from VenusCash.
PayPal denied his appeal:
We regret to inform you that we cannot overturn the limitation on your account. Due to the violation of PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy, your account has been permanently limited.
